Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your booked hotel in Moshi. This arrival arrangement provides time to settle in before beginning the Marangu Route section of your Tanzania adventure. The exact hotel arrangement should be confirmed during booking.

Day 1: Moshi to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Rising: 5,500 ft / 1,700 m to 9,000 ft / 2,740 m | Stretch: 7 km | Hike time: 4–5 hours | Climatic habitat: Montane Forest. Begin the Marangu Route trek from Marangu Gate toward Mandara Hut through montane forest. The day’s hiking introduces the mountain environment at a manageable stage. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Moshi

Rising: 12,100 ft / 3,700 m to 5,500 ft / 1,700 m | Stretch: 18 km | Hike time: 5–7 hours. Descend from Horombo Hut through the mountain vegetation toward Marangu Gate. After completing the route, continue to Moshi Town and then transfer onward to Arusha for the night before the safari section. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Pickup from Arusha is planned around 7:00 am to 8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed before departure. The journey to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours / 109 km. During the game drive, wildlife may include elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and other species. Late afternoon, continue toward Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay. Day 8: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from Arusha around 9:00 am to 9:30 am, with the exact pickup time updated before the journey. Continue toward Serengeti for a game drive and overnight stay in Central Serengeti. Day 9: Serengeti Game Drive to Ngorongoro Rim
