Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi

Pickup From Kilimanjaro Airport to your booked Hotel in Moshi. This arrival transfer allows you to settle in before starting the mountain section of your journey. Your hotel accommodation before the hike can be arranged according to the package selected and confirmed travel requirements.

Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Rising: 5,500 ft / 1,700 m to 9,000 ft / 2,740 m | Stretch: 7 km | Hike time: 4–5 hours | Climatic habitat: Montane Forest. The trek begins from Marangu Gate and continues through forest toward Mandara Hut. This first hiking day introduces the Marangu Route and gradually increases your elevation. Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Rising: 9,000 ft / 2,700 m to 12,100 ft / 3,700 m | Stretch: 11 km | Hike time: 6–8 hours | Climatic habitat: Heathland/Moorland. From Mandara, the trail continues toward Horombo through changing vegetation and higher terrain. The longer hiking distance provides additional time to settle into the mountain environment. Day 3: Acclimatization at Horombo Hut

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Day 5: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Moshi

12,100 ft / 3,700 m to 5,500 ft / 1,700 m | Hiking time: 5–7 hours | Stretch: 18 km. The descent continues to Marangu Gate before returning to Moshi Town. After arrival in Moshi, you will be transferred to Arusha for your overnight stay before the wildlife safari begins. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Pickup is around 7:00 am to 8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed before departure. Tarangire is approximately 2 hours or 109 km from Arusha. During the game drive, you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and other wildlife. Late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Serengeti

You will be picked up from Arusha around 9:00 am to 9:30 am, with the exact pickup time updated before departure. Continue toward Serengeti for a game drive and overnight stay in Central Serengeti. Day 9: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Rim
